Recently visited the urgent care with our 4 month old who had RSV. I called to confirm that the would see a young baby ( many do not see under 1) and I was advised to register online. We arrive at the clinic and we' were seen with in minutes of arriving .The entire staff was friendly and helpful and the Md was very knowledgeable. ( for reference my husband and I practice medicine but occasionally you need a fresh set of eyes and equipment that we didn't travel within ). Our son was having problems breathing and we knew we were borderline on a hospital admission. We were given oral steroid in the center with strict instructions that If he didn't improve by that night he would need to be be re-evaluate and possibly admitted to a local hospital for observation. Thankful he responded well to the medication ( which we received on site ) and we were able to enjoy our ski trip with the kids.
The urgent care doesn't take insurance ( you can submit to your insurance co to get reimbursed) but the prices were unbelievable reasonable. We paid $230 for the visit plus the medication which would have been thousands of dollars in NYC. I would highly recommend if you have a sick child or infant.
Don't go to this clinic-the manager Seth Boyd lies to patients. Staff does not return telephone calls-and they play an insurance game with patients. Ski somewhere else for your safety-Stratton does not notify skiers of moguls and skiers get injured. Otis Center takes your money and is not accountable.
